A generous donation of $186 was given to the Creswell Music Boosters. 01/28/2012: The Creswell School District has been awarded $1,000 grant to use towards the music programs from the Creswell Presbyterian Church's Neeley Giving Fund. Thank you to the Neeley family and Creswell Presbyterian Church! 8/22/2012: The Creswell Summer Band offers an free evening concert in the park. The boosters purchase a new electric piano for use by the music program for outdoor and offsite performances. 8/23/2012: The Creswell Swing Band provides music for a community Senior luncheon held for Assisted Living Facilities in Creswell and Cottage Grove. Who are the Music Boosters?
Our mission: The Creswell Music Boosters will give moral, operational and financial support to the music programs of the Creswell School District. The Creswell Music Boosters originated in September, 2011 in response to cuts of co-curricular dollars in the school budget. We recognized that organized support was needed in order to maintain the level of excellence in our music programs. Boosters offer financial as well as volunteer administrative support for the music programs within the Creswell School District, K-12. Aside from the financial support, organizing as a booster association has built support, communication and enthusiasm for the already fantastic music programs in Creswell Schools.
